Get Involved at EDS

If you are looking for a way to connect with other EDS parents and have time, talents, or other resources that would enrich our school community – then get involved in the Parent Booster Association or PBA. Every parent is automatically a member!  Each month there are various ways to get involved, depending on your interests, talents, and time.

PBA meetings are often held during morning and evening times to accommodate all schedules. In the last year, we even hosted a holiday social at Dodici Pizza and Wine and Las Ramblas

Some of the exciting school events hosted by the PBA are: Charro Days Costume Rentals in February, Looking Forward Night in March and our biggest event of the year Spring Fling, A Family Festival in April. Our spring event was complete with dads smokin' brisket on the front lawn, local bluegrass-country band, Mr. Whiskey, kids vs. parents dodge ball tournament, and a student art auction. Fifty moms, dads, alumni, staff and teachers worked together to create a lifetime of memories for all families to enjoy. We are proud to share that there was no cost to the school for the Spring Fling and the PBA was able to raise several thousand dollars. In May, the PBA hosted the first annual Father-Daughter Dance and the annual Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week.

We are always open to new ideas and encourage parents to lead projects that they are passionate about!  The best way to be aware of everything PBA is to sign up for our private parent communications website/app, Konstella. The school also distributes PBA notices via email and folders.

Or, of course, feel free to approach any of the PBA Executive Board parents on campus.
