Sandra M. Garza, Day Care Director
Sandra is married and has 2 children whom attend EDS. She is currently a 4K Teacher. Since August 2008 and beginning her third year at EDS, Sandra M. Garza has taken over the responsibilities of the Episcopal Day School Day Care Program. Sandra began in August 2007 an Early Childhood Educator Professional Development Program at UT Brownsville. Sandra completed this 72 hour program in May 2008. She attended UT Brownsville in August 2008 and finished the requirements to attain her Day Care License granted by the State. Sandra has a B.A. in Economics from the University of Texas at Austin. She has worked in various capacities such as being the Human Resource Director for the City of Brownsville from 1991-1995 and for Rich Sea Pak Corp. from 1995-2000. Sandra decided to stay home and take care of her 2 year old son Adrian in 2000 and then Danny who was born in 2001. She then began to work for the University of Houston in 2003 conducting observations in several elementary schools at BISD. Then in 2006 she accepted the position of 4K teacher. Sandra will continue pursuing her education in order to complete the Alternative Certification Program in Education.
